La Prairie will be celebrating its 25 Years of Luxurious Skincare at the Tower Ballroom of Shangri La Hotel on the 1st November, 2006, in aid of Baroque Arts in Asia Ltd, a Special Accounts Member (Centralized) for the Arts under The National Arts Council.

Baroque Arts in Asia Ltd

A Charity institution whose aim is to promote the four aspects of Baroque Arts: Music, Architecture, Painting and Sculpture from the Baroque Era.  The funds will be used to pursue the promotion of Baroque Arts in Singapore.  We aim to educate the public and the youth of Singapore so that they may appreciate and be aware of the Beauty and Timelessness of Classical Arts.  We believe that our future lies in the hands of the youth of Singapore as they will be our future leaders.  Funds raised will be used to enable them to come to our events so that they may participate in the enrichment and cultivation of the European Classical Arts.

A Scientific Approach to Beauty

Today La Prairie is the product most sought out after when it comes to skincare.  Through its various product line and treatment one can achieve one’s desired effect for skincare and lifestyle.  La Prairie invites you to come and celebrate this wonderful occasion and to celebrate life with a touch of charity in our hearts.

Highlight of this event will be a performance by Eng Meng Chia, a local professional singer who has studied at the London Royal Music and at the Hochschule for Music in Munich, where he is currently based.  He was under the tutelage of two renowned Italian Maestro: Arrigo Pola and Carols Bergonzi.  He will perform with the Korean Chamber Orchestra – who has performed over 450 concerts worldwide and have attained high appraisals from the New York Times, Washington Post, Toronto Star, Badische Zeitung and Mindelheimer Zeitung.  This performance will demonstrate the union of European Art and Asia.  In continuity of this frame of mind, and traveling through the classical period to a more modern classical time, there will be a spectacular performance of ballroom dancing and a live band performance by Los Caballeros to spice up the evening to a roaring end.

Participants of this event will also benefit a La Prairie ‘Traveling Better Than Ever’ set which contains the necessities to maintain beautiful skin while on the go, worth $600, through the generous contribution from La Prairie (or if you prefer Mrs. Florence Hooi.)

To participate to this special Gala Charity event, tables of ten are available at $5,000, $10,000, and $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000.

Proceeds from this event will qualify for a double tax exemption in accordance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the IRAS as Baroque Arts has an IPC status under the National Arts Council.

We look forward to your generous contribution.
